Tessera is local-first. The app runs on your own Mac — your agents, your conversations, and your credentials live on your machine and never touch our servers, because we don't run servers that hold your product data. This page covers one thing only: the information you choose to give us when you apply for the private beta on this website.
When you submit the beta application form, we collect exactly what you type into it:
That's all. This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and loads no third-party trackers — fonts and scripts are served from this site itself. Nothing is collected in the background; only what you deliberately submit.
We use your application for one purpose: to see who's a fit for each beta wave and to email you an invite. Our legal basis is your consent, given when you submit the form. We don't use it for anything else, and we never sell, rent, or share it for advertising.
Your application is delivered to our inbox at tessera@tesserra.app through FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), a form-forwarding service that simply passes your message to us. It then lives only in our inbox — there is no separate marketing database, and we never sell or share it. FormSubmit operates in the United States, so if you're in the EU/UK, your application is transferred there for delivery. If we change how applications reach us, we'll update this page first.
We keep your application only while the private beta is running, or until you ask us to delete it — whichever comes first. Applications we don't act on are deleted when the beta ends.
You can ask us at any time to show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it — just email tessera@tesserra.app and we'll do it. If you're in the EU/UK you have these rights under the GDPR; in California, under the CCPA/CPRA.
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
